Dr. Caitlin DeWilde is a practicing veterinarian and founder of The Social DVM, a consulting firm devoted to helping veterinary professionals manage and grow their social media, online reputation and marketing strategies. She has partnered with small and large animal veterinary practices, national industry groups, non-profit organizations, and individual veterinarians to create practical yet creative strategies to succeed online and in practice. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and a recipient of their Outstanding Young Alumni Award. She is also an alum of the AVMA’s Future Leaders Program. In her free time, she enjoys travel, photography, and of course, the many hilarious corgi and cat-related videos on social media.

Mark Stephenson, DVM (Moderator)

Mark Stephenson is a 1987 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. Dr. Stephenson owned and operated Don Valley Veterinary Hospital in Toronto for 7 years prior to joining LifeLearn as a startup in 1994. At LifeLearn, Mark played a significant role in development of LifeLearn’s groundbreaking early e-learning products, and eventually became President from 2001 to 2013. In 2014, Mark took on the role of Chief Corporate Development Officer, which led to partnerships with IBM Watson to create Sofie – the first cognitive computing (AI) veterinary medical knowledge application – and Voyce, an early pioneer in wearable pet health monitoring technology. Dr. Stephenson is now Chief Veterinary Officer of LifeLearn, and in addition to sitting on the executive leadership team, he oversees all veterinary medical affairs including a team of content creators.
