ClientEd Online™ Features

When viewing a handout, related articles by keyword and topic are listed for further assistance in finding just the right information. Your most commonly used handouts are also listed for quick access.

ClientEd Online handouts are:

  • Written in a thorough question-and-answer format.
  • Highlight key points.
  • Contain multiple color images, including medical illustrations, photographs, cartoons, and line drawings to enhance and reinforce understanding of the condition.

  • Can be customized—Brand the handouts with your practice logo and contact information. You can even change the articles to reflect your hospital’s philosophy, style, or culture.
  • Can be personalized—Add specific instructions, notes, and comments for individual clients.
  • Can be printed or emailed—Review handouts with your clients in your office and/or email them for additional reinforcement.

  • Refer clients to your website for specific articles or to view the full library.
  • Add your own articles to your practice’s online library.
  • Purchase the small animal series Spanish add-on module to better communicate with your Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Integrate ClientEd Online information with your practice management software system,* linking content directly to diagnostic and treatment codes for automatic printing and storage in your patients’ medical records.

*Practice management software integration is currently available with AVImark, DVM Manager, Infinity, and AlisVet systems.

  • You can assign administrator rights to staff to use and/or edit articles. Each user will have his or her own personal user name and password.
  • You can track changes to the articles, dates the changes were made, and who in your practice made them.
  • You can revert to the original handout at any time.
  • You decide whether and when you want to accept updates to articles that you have already edited or customized. Articles will not be overwritten unless you want them to be.
