NB: Please do not make flight reservations until the course you are registering in is confirmed. Confirmation depends on the number of registrants which varies with each course. You will receive a confirmation either by phone, fax or email. Lifelearn reserves the right to cancel a course, in which case a full course refund only will be paid. All other costs will be paid by the registrant. For registrations that you wish to cancel, a 90% refund less deposit will be issued up to 60 days prior to the course. No refunds will be issued after that date except under special circumstances, when the maximum refund is 50%.

All you need to know about diagnostic otology

A morning lecture on otitis externa will include practice tips for otic evaluation techniques (otoscopy, cytology, culture) and practice tips for procedural otic techniques (Intralesional injections, myringotomy, video-otoscope/CO2 LASER procedures).

    Wet Lab
  1. Handheld otoscope versus video-otoscope – cost, care, financing, available equipment
  2. Cytology – including staining and reading using digital microscope
  3. Ear flushing station – manual to video-otoscope/flush unit and curettage
  4. Myringotomy and sampling from middle ear
  5. Intralesional injections and Biopsies of the ear canal – handheld versus video-otoscope
  6. Intra-aural CO2 LASER surgery

Conference Fees:
Early Registration: (before October 23, 2009) $799 CDN/US

After October 23, 2009:
$849 CDN/US

CE Accreditation: Certificate awarded from the Ontario Veterinary College for 6 hours of CE credit.
