Through the use of extensive video, provide your team with the necessary skills and knowledge to keep themselves safe, prevent bites and restrain animals humanely and confidently.

    Veterinary team members will learn:
  • To safely and humanly handle and restrain dogs and cats as well as develop observation skills to improve understanding of animal behavior
  • To identify and handle aggressive dogs and cats, including identifying the behavior signs including their ears, eyes, tail, etc., and the appropriate animal lifting and muzzling techniques
  • The step-by-step restraint techniques for examinations, rectals, radiographs, injections and blood collections
  • How to use the following restraint aids: leashes, towels, muzzles, anesthetic chambers, catch poles, sedative, cat bags, squeeze cages, leather gloves.

Accredited for CE!
Lifelearn’s practice license allows all team members to use the program and collect CE. The built-in self assessment test may be completed and a certificate printed. To earn continuing education credits, the test results may be returned to Lifelearn to receive a certificate of completion (where allowed by state and provincial regulation).
