  • Indications for Monitoring BP section includes anesthesia, emergency assessment, pre-emptive screening and monitoring of therapy, including 4 case examples.
  • Blood Pressure Definitions section includes characteristics of BP, BP variation, hypertension and hypotension.
  • Techniques for Measuring BP section includes direct and indirect techniques, technique comparisons, special considerations and the cardinal rules for measuring blood pressure.
  • Treatment section includes drugs to treat hypertension and hypotension, detailed decision-trees for both hypertension and hypotension, and follow-up monitoring.
